Hey everyone. Everyone meaning... I'm not really sure who reads this anymore. I honestly don't know why I'm posting this. I would post it on facebook because then people would be alerted when I post it, but there may be some people on facebook who i'm trying to NOT freak out. If that makes sense... I've said too much. Anyways.

I put in my two weeks at Walgreens yesterday. So you only have until the 13th (that is my last scheduled day) to come visit me there......otherwise you can visit me at my new job, CARIBOU COFFEE! I don't know when I start there, but I'm excited!

Love youu.

This weekend was pretty amazing. Jeff Grenell and his worship team came up and ministered to us for the whole weekend, beginning on Friday night with Amped---a special youth outreach for 6+ area churches---and ending last night with a special service by Jeff (his team left Monday morning because they had school). God did lots of amazing things and I hope lame things no longer discourage me from doing what God wans me to!

I got to the chance to go to all five services, which was quite a surprise to me. Friday = Amped (+Leatherheads). Saturday = Lunch with Jeff & his team and a special discussion just for the leadership (plus playing Brawl and some crazy train game which was crazy fun). Sunday = Both morning services and the evening service. Monday = Special service (+Building a snowman with Mike, Jenn, Lauren, Nate, and special baby-watcher Amber). Jeff spoke at all of the events.

Oh, and a special congratulations to Pastor Ryan, Melanie, and the Kansas Jayhawks for winning the national college basketball championships. I had a strange dream where Pastor Ryan came up to me so ecstatic at the fact, and he was crying. It was quite interesting... Hahah.

Have a happy day.
[Oh. And I might get a new job. Heehee.]

Hi. I work Tuesday nights. Which stinks because I miss Tuesday night prayer with my woman/girl/bestest friend/mother/wesley Amber, and I miss one of my true loves---American Idol. I have, however, kept up to pace with that show via word of mouth and video clip on the World Wide Web. I, along with just about every other girl on the planet, have fallen for one kid---David Archuleta. Who wouldn't fall for a handsome 17 year old with the voice of an angel? Last night, as I lie on my couch (Yes, you did read right that I work EVERY Tuesday.. But I got a doctor's excuse so I got to stay home! :D ), the first man was up to date. He's cute and all, but I wasn't too impressed, but he did sing WHAM! so that's always cool. It was 80's night, by the way. Up next, was everyone's man David. Our faithful host Ryan Seacrest announced that he would be singing Phil Collins. Now, as most of you probably know, Joe Kessler (the emcee at MYC every year) often does a dance to the Phil Collins song "Another Day In Paradise," and I like imitating the dance and last week I even did it in front of the youth group as a favor for Lauren. I thought he would do this song, but then I thought it to be too slow, so I figured he would do "Groovy Kind of Love" or maybe even "True Colors." And he sat at the piano, and played the first few chords, and I knew what he was up to. Yup. He was in paradise. I obviously began to bounce/hop/hobble around and scream and point as if I had just won an Emmy. He is my new favourite, even though he was my favourite in the first place. I remember his audition! I liked him from the start when he sang good ol' John Mayer. I also like Danny (even though he's kinda freaky looking and, well, just to be save, OVERLY metero), because his voice isn't too bad and I like his hair.. Haha. And David Hernandez! Woo.
But Mister Archuleta... You have my vote!

LOST: Right up there with breathing.

Well. 10 days until the best show ever invented airs once again.
I'm freakin' excited!! And nervous...

If you haven't figured it out yet, my URL is actually from LOST. It comes from dialogue between Sawyer and Kate. Sawyer kisses Kate and says, "Mmm, you taste like strawberries." And she goes, "You taste like fish biscuit." They were stuck in cages and Kate snuck over to his, and all they had to eat was fish biscuits because the cages were once used for polar bears and that's what they ate. Yea.

"Well, you passed."

As of Thursday, November 1st, 2007, at approximately two in the afternoon, I am the newest member of the driver's license club!

He asked what color the car was, and I replied with, "Uhh.." I then looked to my dad for help and he replied with a calm, "Red." The test was good overall with a few minor mistakes and a horrid parallel parking job, but as I drove back to the DMV and parked, he quickly replied with a, "Well, you passed." Relieved I walked into the office and got my picture taken, which was horrible might I add.

I have not even driven alone yet, for I do not know how to drive a stick shift smoothly. I have inherited the Plaidmobile (aka Kevin) and am excited for the day when I can drive myself around without fear of crashing into a stop sign. Apparently, according to my female parental unit, I have a "lead foot." Nonetheless, I still feel a sense of FREEDOM!

Yay me.

Seriously.

As I sit here in Health class, having finished the assignment with nothing to do, I decide to write to you "faithful" blog readers. The HHS technology department recently discovered that the previously blocked websites, MySpace and Facebook, were no longer blocked on the school computers, they recently fixed that bug. And that leaves me nothing to do, and I am ashamed to have anything to do with either of those websites. I was just pondering how I used to be, even last year. I read old e-mails, blog posts, and recall past conversations, and shudder. Paranoid. A perfect word to describe me. I must admit, I am still paranoid, but not to the extent that I was previously.

At least sanity is a slow growing quality within me. I really don't like being paranoid. It literally makes me want to puke.

I like life. And I like YOU.

p.s. I am in love with Italian food :]

I'm not dead.

Here's a video from our last meal at camp this year. Obviously I had some difficulty. The audio stinks, and thank you Jenn for the video.

Sorry for the lack of posting. I've been blogging on other websites (i.e. Myspace). And, yes, I am ashamed.
